Delete Account & Data

This page explains how to request deletion of your account and data for Your PT - AI Workout Tracker, published by Step up Apps (package name com.stepup.yourpt) on Google Play and the App Store.

How to Request Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and data in either of the following ways:

  • Email us: Send a request to [email protected] from the email address associated with your account.
  • In the app: Use the Delete account option in the app’s Profile screen (coming soon).

Response time: We will action deletion requests within 30 days.

What Gets Deleted

Once your request is processed, we permanently delete:

  • Your Firebase Authentication account record, including the email address obtained via Google or Apple sign-in.
  • All workout plans, logs, and nutrition entries.
  • Your body-weight history.
  • Your leaderboard nickname and gender, stored under your Firestore document.
  • Your RevenueCat subscriber record, which links your purchases to your account.

What Is Kept

  • Store purchase and billing records. Google Play and Apple control these directly. Deleting your account with us does not delete your purchase history held by those stores.
  • Active subscriptions. If you have an active subscription, you must cancel it separately through Google Play or the App Store to stop future billing — deleting your account does not cancel it for you.
  • Anonymised, aggregated analytics and crash diagnostics. Data that has been anonymised and aggregated such that it cannot be tied back to an individual user is retained to help us maintain and improve the app.

Backups

Deleted data is purged from our encrypted backups within 90 days.
